The Excess 11 is the only catamaran of this length on the market produced in series. This 37-foot cruising catamaran is impressive both in terms of comfort and space, as well as in terms of sailing sensations. The Excess 11 is a boat suitable for long crossings and offers a comfortable life on board.
The layout of our Excess 11 will make sailing enthusiasts very happy thanks to the very easy-to-perform operations: self-tacking genoa and double stern steering! With the double bow net it offers a comfortable sunbathing area with a sea view. The catamaran also has a 60 lt/h WATERMAKER that will allow the continuous availability of fresh water on board without the obligation of mooring in port! To complete the extraordinary on-board equipment, there are also SOLAR PANELS!
LIVING AREA
The layout of the Excess 11 catamaran is classic: two typical "sea" areas, one at the bow with 2 sunbathing nets and one at the stern, where the comfortable cockpit is located next to the welcoming internal lounge/kitchen. The living area is divided into 2 areas: a closed one with kitchen, dining table and chart table, plus an external area with an additional table for 8 people with an "L" shaped sofa and 2 sofas at the stern and on the port side. No boundary between inside and outside thanks to a large disappearing French window. The kitchen enjoys a 360 degree view and 3 burners, an oven, a fridge and a freezer.
SLEEPING AREA
Its strong point is certainly the quality and comfort of the cabins: the interior embraces a refined, elegant and functional style. Even the 4 double cabins adopt important volumes despite being on board a 37-footer. The extraordinary quality of life on board is guaranteed by an accurate finish and by the internal lighting and by a ventilation system for cabins and dinette.
OUTDOOR SPACES
The bow is of traditional design: 2 nets offer the best solution for lovers of real sailing (and for children's games) together with seats to enjoy the aperitif!
The dinette combines with the external cockpit equipped with a comfortable table with an "L" shaped sofa and chairs, as well as the sofas at the stern and to port, creating a cosy and comfortable environment.
The equipment is completed by a 45 l/h WATERMAKER, SOLAR PANELS and 2 central bathrooms with shower, 1 per hull and all electrified.
The prevailing winds around the Aeolian Islands during the summer tend to be from the NW or NE, although, in calm weather, light sea breezes from any direction can be encountered blowing between the islands.
While rare, storms are not unheard of during the spring and early summer and careful forward planning is required as there are only two harbors that offer adequate shelter.
