Our BaIi 4.8 is a medium/large catamaran that belongs to the new generation of yachts made for all-round holidays rather than just sailing: like her younger sisters, the 4.8 is a real floating villa for Guests who they are looking for space and comfort in the luxury class. Like all Balis, the 4.8 is also a revolution in the concept of holidays: beginners at sea, as well as experienced sea enthusiasts will love both the immense spaces and the incomparable stability of our Catamaran Bali 4.8 with all the comforts that such a yacht has to offer for a truly luxurious sailing holiday. What's more: the dinette has a door that opens onto the forward lounge area thus creating a truly immense living dinette where you can move easily from bow to stern.
LIVING AREA
What are the differences with a 4.3 or a 4.1? The double bedrooms are larger, as are all the common areas: the dinette, the bow and the flybridge are much larger, for greater comfort.
You will enjoy a breathtaking cockpit/saloon area, which opens completely with a huge tilting glazed door: a single space for dining and relaxing, which can be opened or closed at your convenience with a single button. And just aft you'll find a huge sofa, which someone will love to use to sleep at night under the stars. Up to 13 people can sit in the dinette: 8 at the table, 2 on the port sofa and 4 on the stern sofa! All cabins are equipped with full length beds (5 doubles and 1 single bunk bed, perfect for friends or children) and en-suite bathrooms with integrated showers, as well as wardrobes for storing luggage. All cabins are also equipped with electronic air conditioning to cool off on the hottest days, while the galley has ample countertops for cooking and preparing food, plus an XL American fridge with built-in large refrigerator and ice maker: cocktails and cold drinks on the go!
OUTDOOR SPACES
The raised wheelhouse on the fly bridge also offers a convivial lounge table, while the exclusive bow of the new Bali catamarans offers 5 full sun beds with a large lounge area with 2 tables to enjoy the sun on this incredible yacht. The result is that our Bali 4.8 offers 3 separate areas for its Guests, thus avoiding the overcrowding typical of other sailing yachts.
An observation note on the fly: a complete living space on the 2nd floor, with a table for 4 people and sunbeds for 4 more. Total luxury!
The prevailing winds around the Aegadian Islands during the summer tend to be NW or NE, with more frequent than the Aeolian Islands, light sea breezes can be encountered from any direction (mainly W-NW).
While rare, storms are not unheard of during the spring and early summer and careful forward planning is required as the single island of Favignana offers adequate shelter, if not the large port of Trapani is a a few nautical miles.
