The Jeanneau SUN ODYSSEY 440 seamlessly blends style, functionality, and spaciousness, making it an ideal vessel for sailing trips alongside friends and family. Equipped with four double cabins, this yacht can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests, providing abundant comfort.
LIVING AREA
The third and fourth cabins are created by splitting the bow area into two double cabins. The lounge is spacious, and the linear kitchen features an elegant island equipped with a 2-burner stove and oven, a double sink, a freezer, and a vertical refrigerator. This yacht's layout includes four double cabins and two sizable bathrooms, each with electric toilets and showers, allowing it to comfortably accommodate eight guests plus two more in the dinette. The dinette's table can be folded down to convert, along with the sofa, into a large double bed. Fans are installed throughout all cabins and the lounge, enhancing the comfort aboard this contemporary vessel.
The ample dining table is accompanied by an L-shaped sofa and a central bench. Storage space for provisions and galley items is abundant, with additional lockers located beneath the sofa and dining seats. Natural filtered light fills the interior exceptionally well, thanks to hull and deck portholes as well as generously sized integrated windows.
OUTDOOR AREA
The innovative "walk-around" side deck enables passage on both sides without obstruction from steps, backrests, or the dual wheelhouse wheels. The wheelhouses feature comfortable seats designed for safe and relaxed steering in any weather.
The cockpit offers spacious, cozy seating that also accommodates reclining with ease. A sizable, foldable cockpit table ensures safe and convenient movement at all times.
With its dual wheelhouse, expansive divided backstay, and extra-large swim platform, boarding is effortless, providing unobstructed access to the roller.
The engine start panel is built into the cockpit table alongside electronic instruments, a compass, and courtesy light controls. Well-sized Harken winches are positioned close to the helmsman, guaranteeing exceptional maneuverability and optimal safety.
Completing the setup is a large compass stern platform that extends over the water.

The prevailing winds around the Aeolian Islands during the summer tend to be from the NW or NE, although, in calm weather, light sea breezes from any direction can be encountered blowing between the islands.
While rare, storms are not unheard of during the spring and early summer and careful forward planning is required as there are only two harbors that offer adequate shelter.
